I am both an ESFJ and ENFJ. I am looking at the other side of this scale and I’m seeing the other side of myself.
Growing up I’d seen my mother as the nurturer and my father as the protector. I’d seen my husband as the protector and my daughter as the nurturer. I’d seen all of that and then I’d come across an ENFJ. And this ENFJ told me that’s not how it is for her at all.
That isn’t what she sees in herself at all. She sees herself as a protector, a nurturer, a healer, a doer. She sees herself as a hero!
It was so eye-opening for me to see that from the side of another personality type.
The ENFJ is the hero. They’re the ones who do it all. And they don’t just do it, they do it all in a heroic way! And I thought, ‘Why can’t I be that?’
