In his youth, Erebos’s ambition was to become a skilled swordsman, but due to a lack of resources he had to abandon this dream, instead he decided to go into the military. While in the military, however, Erebos did not see much action, and soon he grew dissatisfied with his life there. After leaving the military, he set out on a journey to think about his life and how he wanted to live it. In the process of doing that, he discovered that he really did not want to live his life that way. He then decided to leave his old life behind and rejoin the world.
In Erebos’s case, his introverted nature comes out in his desire to keep to himself and not seek the limelight.
