Julian personality type is INFP, probably. But I'm not so sure. We're back to our original topic: what do you think of all this? Do you think we're close to being able to identify the personality types of people, or at least to narrow it down enough to be able to make some reasonable guesses?
I think we're getting closer. Personality typing is a way of saying, "This person is a xyz, and by the way, here's why this is true." It's a way of saying, "This person is like xyz, but in this case, it's also true that this person is like xyz." In fact, if you look at the "I" (for introvert) and "N" (for extrovert) labels, you can see that those are just two ways to say "this person is like xyz." The first one says, "This person is like xyz because he is xyz." The second one says, "This person is like xyz because he is not xyz." So these are not really different personality types.
