In my 20s, I was incredibly shy and reserved, but also incredibly driven and strategic. I had no idea what I wanted to do for a career, so I had a lot of time on my hands to fill with hobbies, which included reading, writing and gardening. I created a world for myself called the Moonlit Gardens. (I was obsessed with fairies and the moon back then, so that's not too surprising.)
I wrote a play in my early 20s, which was my first foray into being more creative. I also started taking acting classes and started dating my future husband. But I also spent time alone. In fact, I spent a lot of time alone in my 20s. I spent parts of my 20s in New York City, and then I spent a lot of time in Los Angeles while I was pursuing acting.
I'm not used to people watching me a lot, but I am not shy when it comes to people watching me, because I have been in front of the camera before.
