Zeynep personality type is ESFP, but her blog has some excellent insights into the differences between INFJ and ENFJ. She’s posted a few good blog posts on the differences, and I would highly recommend reading them.
How does that fit into my personality type assumption?
I am an ENFJ with a secondary ESFP “E”, so my personality type is definitely ENFJ. It’s not 100% clear on the secondary type, but I had a moment of clarity while reading my Myers-Briggs Type Indicator report and discovered that I’m not INFJ. For simplicity, I had assumed it was INFJ, but it turns out that I really am ENFJ, which was a pleasant surprise.
This has been a difficult journey for me to understand my personality type. I took the MBTI test a few years ago and was given a type of ENFJ with a secondary type of SPJ, which is something I’m very familiar with from my current career as an English teacher. After some thought, I decided to take the test again and change my type to INFJ, which I originally assumed was my primary type.
