Samantha Maxis (Cold War) personality type is INTJ, but I’d lean more towards ISTJ, as I don’t really see any of the coldness or the self-centeredness that the “cold” personality type is supposed to have. She was more introverted and more interested in the intelligence and efficiency of the UEC than she was in human life.
I don’t believe Maxis was possibly a sociopath, but she was certainly not warm-hearted like a certain other character I’ve had on this page. It’s a little curious that she didn’t have any friends – given her own insistence on her “perfection” – but I suspect there is a reason for that. As for her personality type, I suspect at least some of it was probably shaped by the UEC’s mainframe, and her fascination with the machines may have been a coping mechanism.
I think it’s pretty clear that Maxis was a total control freak, but that doesn’t necessarily make her evil, per se. She was simply trying to control the UEC in service of Utopia, after all.
