Dragoon personality type is ISTJ, or “The Gatekeeper.” ISTJs are loyal, dependable, and, in their own estimation, essential to the smooth functioning of society. They can be very difficult to get along with, however, because they are so deeply concerned with the “right” way to do things.
Some ISTJs are so concerned with how things are done that they are sometimes called “the police.” They are cautious, slow, and analytical, but they are also orderly and efficient. They are the ones who notice when something is off-balance or out of place.
If an ISTJ is not careful, he or she will be the one who always seems to be in a state of analysis or analysis paralysis. Once an ISTJ gets an idea in his or her head, it is very hard to get it out again.
ISTJs are also very careful to avoid upsetting anyone else. If everything is running smoothly, they are content to not be involved at all. However, if something goes wrong or someone’s feelings are hurt, they will jump right in to try to fix it. Unfortunately for them, sometimes they can create more problems than they solve.
