I think it's a bit of a stretch to call him a rationalist. He's definitely a scientist, and he does have a sense of logic, but he's not a logical scientist. He's not a logical scientist because he doesn't have a working theory of how the universe works. He's not a logical scientist because he can't prove that everything that exists has a purpose.
Otherwise, he's ENTJ with a healthy dose of ESPP.
