Liam personality type is ISFJ, and I'm an ISFJ. But I've decided to be a little more respectful of his way of telling me what he wants, and be a little bit more flexible when it comes to letting him know what I want. I've decided to do this by being a little more vocal about what I want, and being able to do a little more of it (if I'm able).
This isn't about being overbearing or anything. I'm not going to demand that he give me everything I want. And I don't want to force him into anything. It's about being respectful of his needs, too. He doesn't mind listening to me, and that's a good start.
I think he is feeling pretty comfortable talking to me about what he wants, now that he's told me what he wants.
I've told him that he can ask for anything he wants and that, if it's within my budget, I will do it. He's agreed to this, so we're off to a good start.
When I ask him what he wants, he says "I want you to show me how to put my clothes on."
