Tokkori is a small talking bird and a supporting character in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. He is a yellow parakeet that lives in a nest in a tree near Kirby's house, though the two often switch places.
Tokkori has a cantankerous personality, is short-tempered, and is generally selfish. He puts on a strong desire to be left alone to live a hermit's life-style, but this appears to be a deception, as he constantly bugs others with his sarcastic and jeering remarks. Much of this behavior is directed toward Kirby in particular, as the two are housemates. Despise this abrasiveness, however, Tokkori does care about Kirby's safety, and can generally be expected to do the right thing.
In the Japanese version, it is specifically explained that Tokkori hatched an orphan and never knew his parents, which is surmised to explain his tendency to live as a hermit and his difficulty getting along with others.
