Jack Robinson personality type is INFP, and this is how I thought it would play out.
His best friend for life, the only other INFP I have ever come across, was a boy named Jeremy. The two of them had been friends since kindergarten, and they loved to write each other letters and exchange gifts. In their adulthood, they remained friends and stayed in touch, but no longer lived in the same place.
Jeremy was really bad at dealing with his feelings. He would bottle them up like an angry kraken, until a certain someone would come along and make him feel better. That someone was me.
I did not like Jeremy as a person. He was incredibly immature and predictable. He would do something like insult someone, and then apologize. A few days later, he would do the same thing again. It was ridiculous.
Jeremy’s personality was too much like my own, and I needed to be somewhere else. For the next year or so, I got on a roller coaster of mental health ups and downs. I became a moody teenager, but one who had no idea how to cope with my feelings.
