John F. Kennedy personality type is ESFP, but Kennedy’s fascination with ideas, especially in the realm of foreign policy, was probably more indicative of the ENFP.
This is an interesting topic. I think it’s important to note that John F. Kennedy was not an introvert, but an extrovert who seemed to be especially focused on his own needs. I feel like the ENFP is actually the better fit for him, but if you think about it, he did have some of the qualities of the introverted type. It’s very difficult to separate the two, but I think that’s an interesting point to consider.
It’s also interesting that there are some very introverted-looking leaders, like Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. These men are extroverts by virtue of their ability to speak to large groups of people, but they also seem to naturally gravitate towards quiet, personal activities like reading and walking in the woods.

I think personality did have an impact on my career. I was able to identify my strengths early on, and then use them to get ahead.
