Passepartout personality type is ISFP, while I would classify Capote as an ESFP (since we all know that the ESFP is the most common type in the United States). ESFPs love to make people laugh, and they are also very dramatic and theatrical, so you often see ESFPs as comedians or actors. ESFPs are great at writing, singing and dancing, so you often see them on stage as actors, singers and dancers.
Capote was also an ENTP in my book, since he definitely had a lot of situational awareness and was very outgoing. He also loved to write and he was very brilliant, so you can see why he was so good at writing.
He was a very sensitive type, which is why he was so good at understanding other people’s emotions and how they were feeling. He was very perceptive, so he could see things about people that other people didn’t see and that allowed him to get under their skin.
