I think I can see why he has those traits. If a child is raised in a house with a dominant parent, the child will be very dependent on the parent. If the parent is a Type A (highly emotional), then the child will become an E (emotional) as well. If the parent is a Type B (logical), then the child will also become a B (logical) and perhaps a S (socially acceptable) as well.
Therefore, the only way for the child to learn to function in society is to have a parent who is both high in Type A and Type B, which is very difficult. Now, there are other reasons why Buster is an E, but if you look at his parents, they are both Type A.
