Michelle Shughart personality type is ENFJ, which is also called the “Teacher” personality. ENFJ’s are devoted to others, take care of people and are selfless. However this was not the case for Shughart, who was a very troubled person. He was a very troubled and psychotic person, who would often hurt himself.
As a result of his social interactions with police, he would often become highly agitated and loud while talking with them. He would often talk back to them, and get into a verbal argument with them. It is believed that he would do that in an effort to show them he was defiant and difficult to deal with.
At one point, he stabbed himself in the leg with a knife. This time he was taken to the hospital by ambulance, but he was so upset that he jumped out of the ambulance as it was taking him away. He then proceeded to walk around the hospital property for about 5 minutes before he was able to be restrained and brought back inside.
The next day, Shughart was still very disturbed and upset by what had happened and went back to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation. He was held for about 5 more days and then released.
