It was a cold, winter 2013 day when I drove to his church. The first thing I noticed was the large, wooden cross hanging over the front entrance. It was almost as large as the door itself. His church is located in a small village called St. Paul. I really liked the name of the village. This was very cool in my eyes, as it meant that there were traditional values and a good work ethic in the village.
I liked going to this church because of his personality. He was a kind man. He had a lot of compassion for those around him, especially for the poor and unfortunate. He was a God-fearing man. He was an excellent speaker and had an uplifting spirit. He took his job as pastor seriously and did not take any credit for the work that he did in his pastoral ministry. He also would never refuse to work if he knew that he could help someone who needed help.
This is what made him stand out to me.
