“I’m all about nurturing others,” Ayda said. “I’m really great at that. I am the one who’s always cleaning and tidying up — and people don’t mind because they know I’ll make the spot look good. I’m a very hard worker. I do everything in my power to make sure everything looks nice, that no one is complaining, and that everyone is happy. I’m very good at fixing things.”
Ayda decided to go into nursing after her freshman year of college, when she stumbled upon an “apprenticeship program for nursing students.”
“I thought it was the most interesting thing ever,” Ayda said. “I was the first person in my family to go to college — and I wasn’t even close to being the first person in my family to graduate college. It was a good fit for me.”
Although Ayda plans to become a nurse practitioner one day, she often performs many different roles in the nursing field.
