Cousin Kyle personality type is ENFP, and I think the way he acts and thinks might be more of a result of his mother's personality than his dad's, who, while being an ENTP, is not known for being a jerk. Kyle's mother has that ENFP tendency to be kind and helpful.
I also think Kyle's early-childhood trauma (his dad's abandonment) had a bigger impact on his personality development than his dad's negative personality traits.
Anyway, I'm rambling. I just wanted to mention that I was as surprised as you to learn that Kyle is an INFP. I also wanted to say that I've been an INFP for about twenty years and I'd never come across the term "Cousin Kyle." I guess it's been a long time since I've read an INFP book.
I'm currently reading a nonfiction book about INPs and the author came across my name in a book online. She said she'd never seen another INFP on the Internet before (she assumed I was a Fe user), so I thought maybe someone else had also noticed that Kyle is an INFP.
