Tack personality type is INFP, which means that the person’s main function is an Introverted Intuition (Ni), then Extraverted Feeling (Fe). To illustrate this, think of your own personality. INFP’s are often described as artists, writers, poets, and philosophers because Ni is the dominant intuitive process. As an INFP, I’m not an artist or writer or philosopher, but I do have many traits that are artistic, creative, and philosophical.
The other type that shares my Ni-Fe axis trait is ISTJ, which is the opposite type of INFP. I discovered this recently when I was comparing the MBTI type descriptions to my own type. I realized that many of the attributes listed for INFP were also listed for ISTJ. For example, “solitary,” “hardworking,” and “strict” are all listed as ISTJ traits. But one thing I usually don’t associate with ISTJ is creativity!
My INFP friend says that he or she is also creative.
