As an ENFP myself, I can say that this is an accurate description of myself, and I have been applying this description to my own life for a long time.
ENFPs are very open-minded and they “love to learn new things” (Strong, 2006). In school, ENFPs enjoy exposing themselves to diverse areas of knowledge, history, and philosophy. In my own classroom, I have incorporated a variety of different types of literature into my curriculum in order to allow my students to experience the different types of literature that exist in the world. Due to their open-mindedness, ENFPs often have a hard time with “regimented learning” in which a teacher requires the student to study a certain amount of material in a certain amount of time. For example, if a teacher requires a student to read a summary of the book before the student can move on to the next chapter, this would be a problem for an ENFP.
