As a general rule, the main character's personality type is the "I'm a total nerd" type. As such, she's mostly quirky and a bit of an otaku, but her most defining trait is her social awkwardness. Her hobbies include drawing, reading, and watching anime. She dresses very cutely, but never with any particular purpose. For example, she wears a school uniform when she's trying to go to school, and a sailor uniform when she's trying to go to the beach. She's clumsy and kind of stupid. She's also a little mean; she does have her good points.
The main character's family includes a father, mother, and older brother (who is an exchange student). The older brother is definitely more of a typical teenager than the main character is.
