141. Henry Bellenden Ker (1786–1830) – Henry Bellenden Ker was an English clergyman who served as Bishop of Exeter. His parents were George Ker of Lathallan, near Edinburgh, and Isabella, daughter of Neill Gourlay of Gourlay, in his early years he showed great promise, and after finishing his education he was ordained deacon by the Bishop of Oxford in 1808. During the next two years he was chaplain to Isaac Crawfurd, dean of Argyll, and in 1810 became pastor of the parish church of St Mary Abbots, Chelsea, but in 1812 he was collated to the living of West Kentish Town.
