Skull Crawlers personality type is ISTP, which is an in-between personality type that is better described as being an ISFP. I’m not sure if this is because of the ‘Skull Crawlers’ name, or if this is a statistically significant difference between the two groups, or both.
As with most things, there are exceptions to the rule, and the ISTPs who I interviewed did have characteristics that were more characteristic of the ISTP profile.
ISTPs tend to be leader material, and they usually become leaders because of their skills in something other than leadership. They can be more practical, and not as idealistic as the idealist personality types.
ISTPs usually prefer leading from behind, rather than being at the helm, but they can be in charge when necessary. They are good at building teams and working with others.
The ISTP personality type is often over-estimated, and as an ISTP myself I’ve found that there are many misconceptions about them.
In my first interview, I asked how many of the ISTPs in the group were interested in writing fiction. The ISTP I interviewed said he was interested in writing fiction.
