J.R. personality type is ESTP, and a J.S. is an ESFP. (I know, I know, don’t ask me the last time I looked at my personality type.)
But we have to make allowances for the fact that the Myers-Briggs test was developed for use in the United States, and that the U.S. has a very different culture than Europe. The test has also been used to develop classes of personality types in other cultures—and sometimes it works! For example, there are people who are introverted and extroverted in India, and that might explain why they are introverts (and why they live with their families) or extroverts (and why they work in the city). But there is no evidence that the MBTI is always as accurate in other countries as it is in the U.S., and no evidence that it’s more accurate than any of the other personality tests available around the world.
So yes, it’s possible for me (a U.S. ESFP) to be an extrovert (or an introvert) in Germany, or France, or China, or most any other country where there are different cultural norms.
