The biggest difference is that she's a deeply-religious person who gets frustrated by her boyfriend's lack of respect for her convictions. And yet she seems to be more religious than he is. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this is an example of a character who has been written as having a different personality than the actor himself, who is an INFJ. I'm guessing it's because in Japan, it's considered polite for actors to play characters slightly different from themselves.
