This conversation with Eleanor Morris begins with a little background about the Enneagram.
Marianne Williamson: How did you first get interested in the Enneagram?
Eleanor Morris: I was first introduced to the Enneagram by a friend of mine who was a counselor. She had found it through a friend who was a student of Dr. Don Richard Riso, who wrote the book The Four Tendencies. I read the book and I was intrigued by the idea that there are four different personalities, and that underneath that there might be something that was consistent through all four personalities. So I started doing my own research into the Enneagram. I started with the book Nine Gates to Self-Esteem which is one of the first books on the Enneagram.
