Jill Shore personality type is ESFP, and her color is purple. For the sake of clarity, this page makes no mention of the fact that the color purple is associated with the personality type ESFP (Extraverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving). But it does mention the purple dress (which has been described as "electric"), the purple cape (which can be found in a number of places throughout the book), and the fact that it has been a long-standing tradition for ESFPs to wear purple on Valentine's Day. It also includes a picture of the personality type, which looks very much like the ESFPs in my book.
So while I don't think it's particularly significant, I'm still going to talk about it.
In discussing the ESFP, I've mentioned that they are quite comfortable with being themselves. For example, in discussing the ENFP and INFP, I talked about how they might push themselves to meet their own expectations and even their own standards. The ESFP is a little bit less likely to expect so much of themselves. They are, however, quite comfortable with being themselves. So when it comes to being themselves on Valentine's Day, they will do what they do best - they'll wear purple.
