I’m currently using the following personality type descriptions when analyzing the behavior of my clients:
My most accurate description of Jules was that her behavior was lazy.
This is true, she was lazy. But not to the point that it was a distraction to the rest of our household.
Jules would volunteer to do every chore. I think it was because she had a hard time deciding which chore to do and she would just do them all.
Being lazy is definitely a personality trait. However, when Jules was asked to clean the house she would often get it done quickly. But she would never take the time to organize things in an efficient manner.
Jules also had a hard time cleaning up after herself. She would leave crumbs and food everywhere, not realizing how much mess she made.
The need to please and the need to be right were two traits that I saw in Jules’s behavior. She would do whatever was needed of her but only if it was her idea. Otherwise she wouldn’t do it.
She would also be critical of other people if they disagreed with her on something.
