Gordon Daniels personality type is ISFJ, and she’s a middle manager at the hospital. She is a very caring and nurturing person, and she works to help others, which helps her save money. When she and her husband go to buy their Christmas gifts at the mall, she gets frustrated that they can’t afford to buy their children presents. She tells her husband that he should spend his money on some of the other people who don’t have much money, and he agrees.
They decide that they will give the money that they would have spent on presents to an organization who helps others. They set up a charity called “The Selfless Foundation,” which is comprised of people who give gifts to those who feel the most giving of them. By the end of the story, Daniels has given away most of their money to The Selfless Foundation.
Danielle and her husband are an example of what Myers calls “The Benevolent Self.” They feel as if they have to give so that someone else can get something and are willing to sacrifice themselves to help others.
