His interest in classical music also informed his decision to pursue a career in music.
“I thought music was sacred, so I wanted to learn about it,” he explains. “I started taking classical music lessons from my dad when I was 14 and continued them when I was 17. I still love it, and I think it has helped me with my writing and producing skills.”
