Sidney personality type is INFJ, but I think that my type is ISFP. People who know me describe me as "quiet" and "calm", but I am really an adrenaline junkie. I have a lot of energy and I need to be able to let it go.
I am definitely not the typical ISFP. I'm still figuring out the whole INFJ thing, but I know that I don't feel like I belong in society's system of values, and I've never fit in. I've always been the weird one. Like, I didn't want to play sports and get into fights and be tough, but at the same time I was always the leader of the group. I felt like the class clown, but I was always listening to my feelings and the feelings of others.
When I was in high school, I had a group of friends who were all in the same boat. We all felt like outsiders, and we all struggled with anxiety, depression and even suicidal thoughts. We were all on the same path, but just trying to figure out how to get there.
One of the things that helped us feel normal was reading. We read a lot of fiction, and we all have different tastes.
