As a second year student, I had the opportunity to sit down with Chris for a couple of hours and ask him some questions about himself, his experience as a student at Stanford, and what’s next for him.
What made you decide to apply to Stanford?
It wasn’t really anything that anyone else was doing. I just wanted to do something different. I knew I wanted to go to school at Stanford, despite having an average SAT score. After looking at the application process, I realized I could actually get in without an SAT score.
I didn’t know much about Stanford but I knew it was well known academically, so I was excited about that. The sheer number of applicants also won me over.
What was the Stanford application process like for you?
It was very straightforward.
