Despite their many differences, Katie and her partner have been able to work through their differences through communication and compromise, she said.
"I'm not as extroverted as he is," Katie said. "I have a lot of hobbies and interests that he doesn't do, so we've had to work on being more open-minded and understanding that we're different."
Katie said she chose the Myers-Briggs test because it was a simple, quick way to find out about herself. She said she was looking for a way to get to know herself better and to use that information to better understand people who are around her.
"It's nice to know what you're like," she said.
