The Introvert prefers to focus on internal motivations and feelings, whereas the Extravert focuses outwardly on the external world.
Extraverts and Introverts also differ in their perception of time. Extraverts tend to perceive time as flowing forward in an orderly, linear fashion. They experience time in terms of length or quantity. This means that they prefer to live in the moment, in the present. They are always trying to get things done in a timely fashion so that they can “get on with it”.
Introverts, on the other hand, value depth over breadth.
