It’s not that ISFPs aren’t passionate about their work. They are. They just don’t feel the need to organize their ideas, communicate them, and persuade others to support them. Once they’ve developed their idea, they’re likely to stick with it and move on to the next thing.
ISFPs make wonderful students, because they get great pleasure in learning. They want to take things in as far as they can, but they don’t always take the time to study and understand what they’re learning. For example, if an ISFP is asked to memorize a poem or a song, they may not be able to perform it or even sing it, but they will always have a deep understanding of the material.
