I like to think that my personality type is in the middle, between the very analytical and the very creative. I’m sure that’s true, as my friends and family are all very different. My mother, who is an INFP, is very analytical, while my father, who is an INTP, is very creative.
I’ve always thought of myself as kind of a hybrid of the two, with a penchant for drama. I love to watch movies and TV shows that involve people who are both very analytical and very creative.
I have a greater connection with my mother, who I have always called “Mom” as a child. I’ve always been close with her, but I’ve also had great friendships with women who are INFPs, including my best friend, who is an INFP. I really enjoyed our friendship when we were teenagers.
