He was very active in sports throughout high school, including baseball, basketball, soccer, and athletics. He graduated from high school in 1996, and that same year he began studying at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Ashe entered into college as a psychology major, but quickly switched to law after realizing that he wanted to become an attorney. He was eventually admitted into the Tokyo University of Law, where he studied for four years. While there, Ashe began training with the Special Investigation Unit (SIU), similar to the FBI’s Special Investigations Bureau (SIU).
