When Eir was a little girl she had a traumatic experience in which she witnessed the murder of her mother. After this, she was different than most other children because she couldn’t seem to handle the death of her mother in the same way the rest of her friends could.
Eir’s father died in an accident when she was in her late teens. This left her very lonely and much like the other romantic people she would turn to her art to fill the void.
She was diagnosed with cancer when she was in her early twenties, which led her to live in reclusion for many years. She built up a small cottage where she’d create art and write stories about her life.
After she was released from treatment she moved to Crescent Isle because it reminded her of her childhood home. She began painting again, and soon after that she found herself falling in love with Skye.
