I'm a pretty well-adjusted ENTP, but I have a lot of trouble with my temper, and I've found that my temper is strongly influenced by my dog. I can't just let him be himself. I need to be his "owner," to make him sit and stay, fetch, etc. if he doesn't want to do those things, I have to have a reason for why he's not doing them. Otherwise, he'll just assume that he doesn't have to do what I tell him to, and stay in his room or something. I'm constantly trying to "force" him to do stuff he doesn't want to do. I'm just as much in control of the situation as he is, but I don't know how to stop this behavior without thinking that I'm being a jerk, and he's just saying "no" to me because he's being himself. He doesn't think like that, though.
