Dwayne Haskins Jr. (born May 3, 1997) is an American football quarterback who is a free agent. He played college football at Ohio State University, where he threw 50 touchdowns during his lone starting season in 2018, making him one of the few quarterbacks to ever accomplish that in a single NCAA season. For that, he won several Big Ten conference awards and was named as a finalist for the Maxwell Award and Heisman Trophy. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but was released by them prior to the end of his second season due to inefficient play and not meeting the team's standards off the field.
