The point of this, however, is that the actors were picked for this role because of who they are, not because of what type they are. This is especially true in The Sims 4 where the Sims are able to change their personalities.
I’d also like to take a minute just to say that this is an easy example to make fun of because the movie is terrible. I’m not saying this to be mean or to make fun of people who love it or to make fun of myself for liking it. I’m just pointing out how ridiculously specific this movie is about who it picked to play characters in it. The fact that the characters in this movie are so absurdly specific in terms of their personality makes the movie hard to actually take seriously.
For similar reasons, there are other examples I could point out that are very much about what type of actor the actor is rather than their actual type.
