I had to admit that there was something to his point. In fact, I could see that he was making sense with his analogy. He may be a perfect example of whatever he happens to be describing, but the similarities among people who are all ENTP are much stronger than those among people who are all E.
So, I continued my argument by asking him to think about it from my point of view.
