When I was creating the OC, I did it in a very casual manner. It was only when the story was over and done with and I had a few options left that I decided to make it a full blown OC. I decided to make him a mage, because I felt it would be a good character to make.
I was initially going to make him a warrior, but decided against it. When I was creating him, I didn’t really plan on his personality, but just wanted to create a mage, and see what happened. As I was writing his personality, I realized that he reminded me of my friend’s father. If you were to look at the personality of my friend’s father and then my OC and then look at how different and similar they are, you will realize that he is mostly based on my friend’s father.
If you look at the personality of my OC and compare it with other characters in the story, you will notice that he is the type of person who is normally quiet and reserved, and prefers to stay out of trouble.
