INTJs generally want to know all they can about the world around them and how it works. They desire to understand how everything works and how they can use it to their benefit. Their curiosity sometimes gets the better of them, and they may spend an inordinate amount of time learning about things that don’t interest them, but that is the nature of their dominant function.
I am not a particularly curious person, but I do like to know what is going on in the world around me and why things are happening. I get a kick out of being able to explain things to people who don’t know what I’m talking about. I get a great sense of accomplishment when people ask me questions and then I can explain things to them in a way that they understand.
My curiosity makes me want to learn about most things. I’m very interested in the workings of the world around me, especially science and technology. I want to know how things work and how they can be used to make the world a better place.
