Taira no Shigemori personality type is ISFJ, where the inferior Se character is turned into the dominant Te. In the Chikamatsu Collection, Nobuko seems to have a more mature persona, but in the Akiyama Collection, she's a little more childish. For some reason, until just recently, I would have said that her 'normal' personality was the one from the Chikamatsu Collection. It was only after reading somewhere that she had a quarrel with a man from the Akiyama Collection that I began to wonder how this might have been. But of course, on the surface it's hard to tell which of these is 'real' and which is the 'character' version of the character. In any case, one thing that she is definitely not is a girl who likes to be told what to do.
The main theme of this series is about women and men learning how to work together in order to achieve mutual goals. This is not a series about love and romance, but about working together. One of the things that makes the story work is that she and Toyotomi (in all versions) are very different people, and yet they make a good team.
