She works part-time as a waitress at a restaurant in Japan, where she met Shizuka. They became close friends, but after a while they started to date.
She met Shizuka when he was working at the restaurant where she was working as a waitress, and she took pity on him because he was lonely. Yuzuru is blunt, but smart.
