What is the personality type of Outlaw? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Outlaw from Fictional Character Archetypes Stock Characters and what is the personality traits.
The Outlaw personality type is ISTP, as I’m sure many will agree. ISTPs are certainly not “bad guys” by any means. In fact, they often embody the outlaw archetype. ISTPs generally dislike mediocre or stagnant situations and are always seeking out new and exciting experiences. They are likely to be more interested in the thrill of the chase than in simply settling down, as they do have the tendency to be restless and eager to move on (often taking on the role of a nomad or gypsy).
The ISTP archetype is also associated with a preference for the “real world” or concrete reality, as I’ve discussed in a previous article. That’s why ISTPs can often be seen as “realists” or “practical-minded”. They’re not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get down to business.
As a group, ISTPs are known as “fence sitters” as they tend to be hesitant to commit. They love the excitement of the hunt, but they also don’t want to be caught.
