Karim personality type is ISTP, which is not surprising, given his interest in engineering and his athletic skills. It’s also not surprising that he also has a strong belief in the idea that one should be able to do things without any help from others.
But what is a bit more unexpected is how ‘assistant’ he is to his mother, who seems to want him to follow her advice, although he constantly rebuffs her. This further complicates his relationships with his siblings.
His relationship with his mother is a common theme in literature and movies, but I can’t say that it’s a particularly common or healthy one. It’s also not uncommon to have a mother that wants her son to be successful, but Karim often finds it hard to agree with her.
Karim’s personality type is one that fits very well with ISTP, which is why I find it hard to believe that Karim is actually ISTP.
But there are some aspects of his personality that make me think that he is an ISTP. For one, Karim seems to have a lot of knowledge about the inner workings of technology, which I would attribute to his interest in engineering.
