He was betting with the money from his software programs, and he would lose it all in one night. He would scream at his wife and yell and swear at her for spending so much money. But he was never able to stop. And then he would go right on to the next program that would make him money.
One night, he lost all his money. The next day he lost his job. He became depressed and started drinking more alcohol. He was so depressed that he could not even perform his job well enough to keep his job. And then he did receive a severance package, but his wife divorced him, and he moved in with his mother in-law.
He hit rock bottom. But he didn't give up.
