cris personality type is ISFJ, which is probably why he is so easily stressed out. He really needs to stop and take a breath and focus on what he is doing, which is funny because he has a book about it.
(I'm sure there is a scientific name for the tendency of introverts to overthink, but I can't think of it right now. I'll have to look it up later.)
So, despite his extroverted personality, he is actually quite introverted.

I don't think that's all there is to it, though. He's also really shy, and I'm not sure how much of that has to do with his introverted personality and how much of it has to do with his book nerd personality, but either way it makes for some awkward conversation.
He's also kind of a nice guy. He's not a jerk or anything, but he has no problem being blunt, so I wouldn't recommend asking him for directions.
He has a lot of personal issues due to his life experiences.
